Best Poker Tournament in South Florida

Where is the best poker tournament in South Florida? We welcome our our texas holdem tournament locals to tell our readers where the find the best poker tournaments in South Florida, based on number of entries, blind structure, starting chips, and prize distribution. The Tuesday night tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood seems decent. The buy in is $120 + $30, but I'm unsure how many people sign up on average. Any help out there? Where do you think the best poker tournament in south Florida is?

  1. I think this depends on what type of game you are looking for. I like the tournaments at the Isle in Pompano. This may not be the largest room, with the largest crowds, but i find it to have the most consistent play, which makes it very easy to cash in over 75% of the tournaments you play there. Since becoming a full time player, I have been playing one or two tournaments a week, never putting in more than 20% of the amount i have made the last week towards a tourney buy-in. This leaves me around 200 a week for tournament play, which has been perfect for one good 150 buy-in and after cashing allows me to play a second tourney every week.

Whats your thoughts on the Isles tourney play, or have you ever played there? If not, come play with me in tonights 150 buy-in 8000 starting stack!
